Science has generated numerous technological innovations, such as those in transportation, communication, health, and agriculture, which have improved our quality of life exponentially. It is a rare and historic honor to have an object in space named after an individual. With the mission of inspiring and empowering new leaders, the inaugural cycle of the Leadership Training Program (LTP) was launched in Houston, in November 2018. Forty participants, selected from across the United States, participated in the training that was organized by the National Council. The program was conducted in partnership with the Canadian National Council, which has been organizing a similar Management Training Program for a number of years.
