Aga Khan Youth and Sports Board
The Aga Khan Youth and Sports Board (AKYSB) is a volunteer organisation under the Ismaili Council for the United Kingdom (UK). It aims to inspire, challenge and develop the Ismaili youth to be healthy and happy by serving, leading and participating with the local and global community in accordance with our Ismaili values.
This year's Jubilee Cup was held over the weekend of 29 and 30 October 2022.
Featuring almost a decade’s worth of photos, Prince Hussain’s exhibition The Living Sea – Fragile Beauty finally arrived in the UK. Entering the social hall of the Ismaili Centre, London yesterday, visitors found themselves in a dazzling underwater world.
It’s exam season!

I’m surrounded by young people from all over Europe. Everyone looks, dresses and behaves differently. Actually we can hardly understand each other and have to use gestures to communicate. At home we eat different foods and have different customs, but here we are brothers and sisters in faith: This is European Youth Camp, and we are One Jamat.
During a weekend filled with sunshine, smiles, and sports at the University of Nottingham, thousands of members of the Jamat from 15 countries joined together in a celebration of diversity, service, and health and wellbeing at the European Sports Festival 2019.
As we sat in a bakery at London’s South Kensington waiting for our tea and cakes, I couldn't help but sense how composed the young woman sitting opposite me was. In Nabila Tejpar’s profession however, I sensed that staying calm under pressure came with the job. It wasn't every day that you met a young Ismaili woman who was taking the UK rally driving scene by storm.
