An extraordinary exhibition of more than 120 photographs made by youth from Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, India, and Canada opens on 30 April 2016 at the Ismaili Centre, Toronto as part of the Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival.
Toronto, 6 June 2015 — The Montreal-based Constantinople Musical Ensemble, along with special guests from Greece and Turkey, gave a concert at the Ismaili Centre, Toronto. Their performance recalled the sights and sounds of Istanbul (formerly Constantinople), a city rich in history and culture.
In the generous foyer of the Ismaili Centre Toronto, a large wall has become canvass to a pair of artists from Tajikistan. The plaster work of father and son team Khasan and Firdavs Dzhumaev will complement a space that is already adorned with other exquisite artwork.
Thousands of visitors streamed into the Ismaili Centre as part of Doors Open Toronto 2015. Held last weekend, the annual city-wide open house offered visitors free access to approximately 155 buildings of cultural, historical and social significance.

Connect Create Cairo is an exhibition and workshop that uses 3D printing technology to get people thinking about the past, present and future of cities and urban spaces. Recently held at the Ismaili Centre, Toronto, the exhibition gave participants a chance to become urban planners and conceive their own design solutions.
The opening ceremony of the Aga Khan Museum took place on 12 September 2014, following the opening of the Ismaili Centre, Toronto earlier in the afternoon by Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Mawlana Hazar Imam.
