The Aga Khan Health Board for Pakistan (AKHBP) aims to bring together Ismaili health care professionals from across Pakistan to form the Ismaili Health Professionals Association, Pakistan (IHPAP). It will be formally launched on April 20th, 2018, at the Triple C Conference - “Connecting Community to Consultation” organized by AKHBP in collaboration with Aga Khan University and Aga Khan Health Services.
The one-day conference will be held at the Aga Khan University, Karachi and will be broadcast live through a digital platform connecting participants from Islamabad, Gilgit and Chitral. Besides launching IHPAP, the conference will deliberate on the current health challenges faced by the community and assist in devising future strategies. A key focus will be on innovation in technology and its impact on improving access to quality healthcare. Discussions will be led by prominent international and national health professionals.
The Ismaili Leaders’ International Forum (LIF) has announced that Mawlana Hazar Imam, at the invitation of the Government, has confirmed that he will visit Canada in early May 2018.
