The largest photojournalism exhibition in the world is back in Portugal for another successful edition. We have all the details for you!


Promoted by Visão magazine, and with the support of the Municipality of Oeiras, World Press Photo invades the space of Parque dos Poetas with the winning photographs of the 65th edition of this initiative.

From a selection of more than 64,000 photos, the most impactful, most inspiring and that best reflect the most striking themes of today were chosen, such as the effects of the climate crisis, civil rights movements, access to education and the preservation of indigenous practices.

You can visit the exhibition, with free admission, every day:

  • From September 15th to 30th – 09:00am to 11:00pm
  • From October 1st to 16th – 10:00am to 8:00pm

Every Saturday, between 15:30h and 17:30h, you can attend photography workshops. Some of the themes for this year are:

  • Narrative, communicating through photography
  • Portrait photography
  • Travel photography
