When and where is the PSF - European Edition 2024 taking place?
The PSF - European Edition 2024 is taking place on the 26th and 27th of October 2024 in Lisbon, Portugal.
Following the success of our previous edition, we are holding this year's event at the INATEL again. With its amazing facilities, beautiful greenery, and an increased number of participants, we're sure that this year will be bigger and better than ever.

How can athletes sign up to compete?
If you would like to compete as an athlete please reach out to your AKYSB representative directly. Each jurisdiction will run a separate selection process.

If I register for a sport, will I be playing on both days?
All athletes will get a chance to compete on both days. For most sports the group stages will happen on Saturday, October 26th and the knockout stages will happen on Sunday, October 27th. All teams/individuals will compete in both stages.
Will PSF2024 affect the qualification for Global Encounters 2025 in Dubai?
While PSF2023 served as the qualification for the Jubilee Games in Dubai, PSF2024 is a chance for all athletes another opportunity to compete this year. The results of PSF2024 will not affect existing qualified athletes. Please speak to your local sports coordinator for specific questions and exceptions.
Can the European Jamat participate as spectators?
PSF 2024 is an opportunity to meet old friends and new ones from across Portugal, France, UK, and the rest of Europe. It is an opportunity to compete across a variety of sports. It is an opportunity for us all to unite as One Jamat and share in a weekend of sporting, health & wellbeing activities, entertainment, and voluntary service.
How can we register as spectators?
To participate as a spectator, registration is mandatory. Registration will open on October 1st, 2024 at portugalsportsfestival.com.
Entrance for spectators will be free although we will request a small token for participation in some activities. We encourage all Jamat to register as early as possible as places are limited to due venue capacity.
Can athletes represent more than one jurisdiction?
An athlete may only represent ONE National Council Jurisdiction in which they reside at the time of the event.
Will athletes be able to register for more than one sport?
Athletes will only be able to register for one sport.
Will accommodation be provided for the Jamat coming from abroad?
Accommodation will be provided for Athletes. A special discounted price is being put together for athletes including 2/3 nights accommodation, breakfast at the hotel, lunch on both days, and a special dinner on Saturday. Stay tuned for more details soon!
Unfortunately, for spectators, we won't be able to provide accommodation packages.
Will there be any places to have a meal inside the festival? Are there any vegan / gluten free options inside the festival?
