At the height of the pandemic, we thought about how we could bring some colour and joy to the community and, at the same time, how we could do something for our artists. That is how, on the December 18th 2020, our virtual art gallery - elevArte - appeared. Come and find out how we did on our first year!

We were all locked up at home. There was no way to promote the art made by our artists and we had no way of holding exhibitions. In December 2020, we decided to get to work and create, although in a very simple way, a virtual art gallery.

Since then, we've published 16 artists, over 100 works of art, from painting, sculpture, illustration, photography, design (in two completely different strands) and we've included literature since last week!

And we can proudly say that we had over 1000 visits to the gallery!

We want to thank all the artists for the trust they placed in the Arts & Culture team to publish their works!

We also want to thank all the members of the community who visited us. We continue to count on your support in promoting the art gallery.

For the year 2022, we want to refresh the gallery with new works by our fantastic artists and continue to discover the artistic talents of the community!

If you haven't had the opportunity yet, come and visit elevArte here.

See you soon!
