If we want our families to reap the fruits of health, energy & vitality tomorrow, we need to sow the seeds of healthy living today. Good nutrition and a healthy lifestyle have the power to prevent and manage non-communicable diseases, such as diabetes, heart disease and some cancers.
With the amount of pervasive misinformation out there about nutrition, it is often difficult to distinguish between fact and noise. You may have heard about the fat and sugar debate? Do you wonder if it’s okay to eat fruits when you have diabetes? How about this one: Are all fats created equal?

Diamond Jubilee Health Pledge
To mark the auspicious occasion of Mawlana Hazar Imam’s Diamond Jubilee, we’re thrilled to share the unveiling of the new and improved The Ismaili Nutrition Centre website. We hope your experience engaging with the site will be an even better one.
The Diamond Jubilee is a momentous occasion in the life of a murid. It’s a time to contemplate and reaffirm our commitment to our faith and allegiance to our Imam. It’s also an opportune time to reflect on where we are in our health journey and how this aligns with Hazar Imam’s aspirations for us. The Ismaili Nutrition Centre invites you to step back and assess your lifestyle - identify where you can make simple changes; perhaps eating together as a family more often, or reducing your intake of processed foods. How about enjoying more colourful foods in your diet? We could all certainly benefit from more movement in our day and spend more time outdoors.
Let us gift our Imam, on the occasion of his Diamond Jubilee, our renewed commitment to improving our health and wellbeing. Let's step forward as One Jamat, and make a health pledge today.
Diamond Jubilee Mubarak.
