8 October 2017 - Mawlana Hazar Imam arrived in Uganda this afternoon for his first Diamond Jubilee visit.
The Attorney General, Hon. William Byaruhanga welcomed him to Uganda, and Ismaili Council for Uganda President Minaz Jamal welcomed him on behalf of the Jamat. The AKDN Resident Representative Amin Mawji and other Jamati leaders were also present at the airport.
