Ottawa, 16 May 2016 — Mawlana Hazar Imam arrived in Canada this afternoon, commencing six-day visit to the country. During the visit, Hazar Imam will be in Ottawa and Toronto to attend various meetings and events.

The 2016 ANZ Ismaili Sports Tournament drew to a close on 27 March. It was the largest Ismaili sports event ever held in the region.

Nairobi, 18 December 2015 — A jubilant excitement was palpable as athletes, officials, volunteers, members and leaders of the Jamat convened at the Aga Khan Sports Club, Nairobi on a sunny Friday morning to officially open the Ismaili Games Kenya 2015.

As music filled the air, Jamati members congregated around bonfires for warmth at Soko Moto — a mela-like concept that involved stalls such as bingo, darts, raffles as well as a senior's antakshri program, along with other activities such as bubble soccer and bouncing castles.

Kampala, 17 December 2015 — The Aga Khan University will build a world-class teaching hospital in the heart of Kampala on land granted by the Government of Uganda, announced Mawlana Hazar Imam today. Together with the President and Prime Minister of Uganda, he took part in ceremonies marking the granting of land and initiation of the new University Hospital in Kampala.
