ECD Mozambique and our Parents as Partners in Response to Intervention

Parents as the primary resource in the education of their children in ECD is best exemplified in home learning.This partnership role between parents and the facilitator may have the greatest impact on child’s achievement.

At first glance, it may seem difficult to engage parents in the different components of the Recognition and Response system. With minimal additional planning and a bit of flexibility, parents can be helpful in supporting the implementation of any number of the core components of ECD curriculum and helping to implement effective teaching practices at home.

Through this article we wish to share with you our parents approach in supporting the implementation of the age appropriate activities for our Youngest learner.
