The evening was a celebration of Romanian culture, featuring a presentation on the 20th-century Romanian sculptor, Brancusi, widely regarded as the patriarch of modern sculpture, and an exhibition of paintings by Dubai-based Romanian artist, Ruxandra Mocean. The highlight of the evening was a performance by Nicolae Voiculet, an internationally renowned pan flute musician, accompanied by Mirel Manea on the trumpet, Dorian Parvu on the keyboard and Andra Gradinaru on vocals.
