Prince Amyn delivers the keynote address during an evening reception, in which he remarked on the history of giving in the Ismaili tradition.

An educational programme was hosted at the Aga Khan Centre in London in late-September, for supporters of its three resident institutions, namely the Aga Khan Foundation, The Institute of Ismaili Studies, and the Aga Khan University. The two-day event was attended by Prince Amyn and Princess Zahra.

A special presentation will be held tonight at the Ismaili Centre London. John McNee, Secretary General of the Global Centre for Pluralism, will provide a background on the organisation’s work, and provide an explanation of its aims, objectives, and vision. The event is expected to begin at 8:30 PM (BST) and will be webast at the.ismaili/live.

For the first time since its opening, the Aga Khan Centre will open its doors to the public this weekend, as part of Open House London 2018. Nestled amongst landscaped walkways, pavement cafés, and a crop of new buildings, the Aga Khan Centre provides a purpose-built space for contemplation, collaboration, and contribution to knowledge and scholarship.

Mawlana Hazar Imam granted a Diamond Jubilee Darbar in London yesterday for the UK jurisdiction Jamat.

'Jubilee' featured Master Musicians of the Aga Khan Music Initiative, with special guests the San Francisco-based Kronos Quartet, and Bassekou Kouyaté.

The Diamond Jubilee Music Series, held at venues across the United Kingdom jurisdiction, promoted pluralism and cultural encounters through the medium of music, culminating in a spectacular finale at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall.
