The Co-Director of the IIS, Dr Farhad Daftary was recently in Mumbai to launch two new publications that trace the progress of modern Ismaili studies from the contributions of Wladimir Ivanow to contemporary times. The event was an opportunity for bridge-building among communities that share a common history.

The Institute of Ismaili Studies recently launched a major redesign of its website — www.iis.ac.uk. The updated site offers a complete new look and a smooth user experience that is compatible with desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

London, 26 March 2015 — The Institute of Ismaili Studies is once again inviting applications to their annual Summer Programme on Islam. This year’s programme will be held in Toronto, Canada between 16 – 22 August.
