The family unit nurtures the lives of its members, assisting them in their physical and spiritual endeavours. The wellbeing of individuals, in-turn, contributes to the overall health of the family, and that of society at large.
After the International Arts Festival held in Lisbon in July 2018, the number of Ismaili artists in Syria has increased, with the offering of intensive training and rehearsals organised by the Ismaili Council. A host of artists came together to perform on the occasion of Imamat Day in 2019.

In September 2019, 40 new students joined The Institute of Ismaili Studies (IIS) for post-graduate study, arriving from Canada, India, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, and the USA.
