Mawlana Hazar Imam joined over 60 world leaders for the opening session of the inaugural Paris Peace Forum on 11 November 2018. Leadership from the French Jamat and AKDN were also present at the Forum.

18 September 2018 - Paris, France: President Emmanuel Macron today received Mawlana Hazar Imam at the Élysée Palace in Paris - the official office and residence of the President of France. A guard of honour by the Republican Guard was on display, as Hazar Imam was welcomed by the French President.

Leaders of the Jamat lay a wreath at the memorial event to recognise all who fought alongside France during the First World War a century ago.

On the occasion of the centenary of the end of the First World War, the Ismaili Council for France represented the France jurisdiction Jamat at a ceremony to mark the memory of soldiers of South Asian origin, who lost their lives a century ago. Guests at the event came together to focus on unity and cohesion between all peoples.

Senior French authorities, the Indian diaspora from various countries, as well as several civil society associations were present at the memorial ceremony at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.

A l’occasion du centenaire de la fin de la 1ère Guerre Mondiale, le Conseil Ismaili pour la France a représenté le jamat de la juridiction française lors d'une cérémonie marquant la mémoire des soldats d'origine sud-asiatique, qui ont perdu la vie il y a un siècle. Les invités de cet événement se sont réunis pour s’accorder sur l'unité et la cohésion entre tous les peuples.

Sufi Voyage - Featuring the King of Qawwali Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Bollywood Music Composers Salim-Sulaiman will be coming together in a once in a lifetime performance that will feature Folk, Qawwali and Bollywood pop tunes.
