Generations, a Multi-Generational Housing and Community Centre campus in Skyview Ranch, Calgary, is one of fifty Golden Jubilee projects launched globally in 2008 to improve the quality of life in our communities. 

Mental health can be defined as ‘a state of wellbeing in which an individual realises their own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to their community.’

Today marks the beginning of Mental Health Awareness Week in the United Kingdom, while May represents Mental Health Month in the United States. The occasion provides an ideal opportunity to ask and understand what mental health actually is, and to explore some of the existing perceptions around it. 

As part of a multi-part speaker series hosted by Dr. Amyn Sajoo at the Ismaili Centre Vancouver, Dr. Catherine Dauvergne, Dean of the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC, discussed issues surrounding migration, immigration policy and identity on April 6, 2019.

On March 9, 2019, the Aga Khan Museum unveiled its newest exhibit, entitled The Moon: A Voyage Through Time.
