Science has generated numerous technological innovations, such as those in transportation, communication, health, and agriculture, which have improved our quality of life exponentially. At the same time, technological progress has also led to an array of challenges such as overpopulation, global warming, species eradication, and pollution. Our daily actions, of which we are often completely oblivious, are resulting in irreversible environmental damage.

The Leadership Training Program (LTP), an initiative of the National Council for the USA, was designed to inspire and empower the leaders of tomorrow. At the end of June 2019, twenty-nine attendees from Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and Syria participated in the final session of the program. LTP created encouraged participants in ways to contribute to the progress of the Jamat both in the US and their countries of origin.

On July 7th, 2019, the Ismaili Volunteer Corps of Tanzania and Zambia celebrated 100 years of volunteerism in the Ismaili Community. The event coincided with the 62nd Imamat Day Celebrations of Mawlana Hazar Imam, at the Diamond Jubilee Complex in Dar es Salaam.  The celebratory day commenced with the flag hoisting of the “My Flag” and a March past by the Aga Khan Scouts and Guides, and past and present Ismaili Volunteer Majors that have served in the Ismaili Volunteer Corps.

The One Jamat Mosaic — comprising thousands of individual photos into a single, cohesive work of art — was presented to Mawlana Hazar Imam on the morning of Navroz, March 21, 2018, to commemorate his Diamond Jubilee.
On behalf of the Jamati institutions, we extend our heartfelt mubarakis to the Jamat on the occasion of our beloved Mawlana Hazar Imam's 62nd year as Imam of the Time. We offer our sincere shukranas for Hazar Imam’s continued benevolent guidance that has led to the unprecedented advancement of the US and global Jamats.
