The Sanctuary of Fátima is one of the most significant and symbolic sites of pilgrimage in Portugal.

To mark World Interfaith Harmony Week, The.Ismaili is pleased to share a story from Portugal, where last year, a group of Ismaili students and their Catholic friends and neighbours came together to visit the Sanctuary of Fátima, one of the most significant holy sites in the country.

Vaira Vike-Freiberga, President of WLA-Club de Madrid, and Maria Elena Agüero, Secretary General of the WLA-Club de Madrid, are welcomed to the Ismaili Centre Lisbon by Nazim Ahmad, Diplomatic Representative of the Ismaili Imamat.

The Ismaili Centre Lisbon hosted an evening reception for the World Leadership Alliance - Club of Madrid last month. The event included a special viewing of Prince Hussain’s photographic exhibition The Living Sea.
