The Ismaili Tariqah and Religious Education Board (ITREB), Bangladesh organized an educational and entertaining day on November 7, 2019. The main objective was to show the recent school that won the Aga Khan Award for Architecture and to recognize and appreciate the valuable time, effort, dedication and knowledge sharing that the REC teachers, ITREB Library members, volunteers, and staff give in order to shape the lives of the children and provide religious education to jamat.

The Youth Coordinating Forum (YCF), consisting of ITREB, Youth and Sports Committee and Education Committee organized a day long educational and entertainment program for youth ages 12-35 years on Thursday, August 15, 2019. 

The process of sharing information in today’s world is extremely intense. Significant and constant amounts of information are received through the media. Today’s written media has changed dramatically and this has become more pronounced with the introduction of desktop publishing and social media. To learn more about these trends, the National Council’s Communications and Publications Committee arranged a visit to Bangladesh’s leading and largest circulating English daily - The Daily Star.

For the fifth year in a row, the Ismaili Centre, Toronto participated in Doors Open Toronto, an annual event coordinated by the City of Toronto.

Join us on Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26 for Doors Open Toronto, the annual showcase of some of the most architecturally, historically and culturally significant buildings across the city. Complimentary tours of the Centre will take place between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm on both Days -- last admittance at 4:30 pm and registration not required.
