Just how far it would take him.
‘Coffee Connect’, a first of its kind progamme held at Pallavaram (Chennai) on 13th January 2019, which was a joint endeavor by the AKYSB and AKES, Bengaluru. The programme was ideated and executed by youth and was aimed at inspiring and motivating members of the Jamat in the age group of 13 to 23 years. It was, in fact, an interesting fusion of AKYSB’s ‘Cafe@YSB’ and AKES’s ‘Knowledge, Network and Coffee’ programmes.
Aga Khan Hostel, Hyderabad celebrated its Hostel Day in January when Ms Nimet Reiner, Director of AKES Global graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. We bring to you the highlights of the event.
Khel Utsav, organised by the Aga Khan Youth and Sports Board for Southern India, was a sports event seeking participation from Jamati members aged between 6 and 60 years. The objective was to develop a sports culture in the Jamat, celebrate sportspersons and take a step towards Building Sports Champions.
On the 15th of February 2019, "Hunar - The Skill Mela" was launched in Bangalore Jamatkhana for the first time. The event was organized by Women's Activities Portfolio in synergy with Economic Affairs Committee.
