Mawlana Hazar Imam toured the site of the Ismaili Center Houston yesterday, 22 November, alongside the Center’s design team and the leadership of the USA Jamat. During his trip, Mawlana Hazar Imam also met with City of Houston Mayor the Honorable Sylvester Turner.

On 26 October 2019, the Ismaili Jamatkhana and Center in Houston hosted TEDxSugarLand for the fourth consecutive year. In keeping with the general theme of celebrations across the greater Houston area this year, marking the 50th anniversary of the lunar landing, the theme of TEDxSugarLand 2019 was One Small Idea, One Giant Leap for Mankind.

The Dreams and Dystopias exhibition in the Zamana Space at Ismaili Centre, London, offers an insight into East Africa’s diverse geography and colonial legacy.

Dreams and Distopias: East Africa at the Crossroads is the fourth exhibition to be held in the Zamana Space at the Ismaili Centre, London since its reopening earlier this year. The visual exhibit navigates the East African coastline through the lens of international artist Guillaume Bonn, to reveal a region perennially poised at a crossroads between two worlds.

On 10 October, Prince Rahim visited the Ismaili Centre, London to inaugurate the exhibition: Dreams and Dystopias, East Africa at the Crossroads, featuring photographic work by Guillaume Bonn.

The Asia Society Texas Center presented Princess Zahra with their highest honour, the Huffington Award, for her tireless work to uphold human dignity, develop future leaders, and spearhead health and education initiatives in more than 30 countries around the world.
