In promoting the sanctity of human life, the Qur'an-e Shariff says that good health, like knowledge, is a divine gift. The family unit nurtures the lives of its members, assisting them in their physical and spiritual endeavours. The wellbeing of individuals, in-turn, contributes to the overall health of the family, and that of society at large.
The Ismaili Council for France, French NGO La Chaîne de l’Espoir, and the Aga Khan Development Network hosted an event on 10 April 2018 to present Dr Lee Hilling’s book A Place of Miracles. The event was held at the Afghan Embassy in Paris and was attended by representatives from the diplomatic and civil society sectors.
Ismaili Muslims from Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea came together in Sydney for the 2016 ANZ Ismaili Sports Tournament III (IST), the sports event served as a qualifier for the 2016 Jubilee Games in Dubai.
