This was also the same site where Mawlana Hazar Imam celebrated both his Silver and Golden Jubilees.

Thousands of spectators gathered to support participants at the DJSF National Games in Islamabad

Pakistan’s Diamond Jubilee Sports Festival (DJSF) recently reached its apex with an iconic National Games at the Jinnah Complex in Islamabad. Over 1,300 athletes from eight regions in the country competed for medals in 17 different sports, cheered on and supported by thousands more.

On 14th January 1922, the then Darkhana Jamatkhana in Nairobi, Kenya, conducted its first Jamati ceremonies, exactly two years after the foundation stone was laid. It was therefore auspicious that on 14th January 2018, ninety-six years later to the day that the Nairobi Jamat should remember and celebrate the history of this iconic Jamatkhana with guided tours of an exhibition showcasing the Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims in the region.
