In promoting the sanctity of human life, the Qur'an-e Shariff says that good health, like knowledge, is a divine gift. The family unit nurtures the lives of its members, assisting them in their physical and spiritual endeavours. The wellbeing of individuals, in-turn, contributes to the overall health of the family, and that of society at large.
A delegation from the Ismaili Council for Afghanistan travelled to Bamyan in December 2018 to join the Jamat there in celebrating the occasion of Mawlana Hazar Imam’s 82nd birthday.

Emphasising the health of mothers and children, the facility expands Bamyan Provincial Hospital’s capacity to deliver much needed services in obstetrics and gynecology, paediatrics and surgery.
