During a bright sunny morning on 7th May, 2017 the seniors of the Kinshasa Jamat gathered to reaffirm their commitment to a healthy lifestyle. The event was organized by the Social Welfare Board & the senior citizen committee.

The halls of the Académie Diplomatique Internationale in Paris were filled with the mystical music of the Pamir mountains during a concert given by the Badakhshan Ensemble last month. Organised by the Ismaili Council for France in conjunction with the Aga Khan Music Initiative, the performance captivated members of the Jamat.

The ice storm left hundreds of thousands of families in the Toronto area stranded for days in their homes without electric power or heat in frigid winter temperatures.

When a severe winter storm forced Ontario residents to cope for days in frigid temperatures without electrical power or heat, Ismaili institutions and volunteers quickly mobilised to support those who were most vulnerable. The Jamat’s strength, support and care for one another kept everyone safe; warmed by the knowledge that no one in the community is ever alone.

The hotel “Auberge du Jeu de Paume” was built by Mawlana Hazar Imam as part of a 20-year effort to revitalise the urban area surrounding the Domaine de Chantilly.

Chantilly, a historical 20 thousand-acre princely estate and a jewel of French culture, is undergoing a massive 20-year revitalisation effort led by Mawlana Hazar Imam. At the end of September, four new projects on the estate were inaugurated before a gathering of distinguished guests.
