Mental health conditions often go undetected and unreported, as people can be reluctant to seek assistance.

Mental health is similar to physical health — everybody has it and should take care of it. When we reflect about our health in general, it is important to include the health of our minds as well as the health of our bodies in our thinking, plans, and conversations. Made in Egypt in the 11th century, this lustre-painted dish depicts a richly-attired female figure holding a cup. The vegetal scroll-like patterns of her sleeves are mirrored in the dish’s overall decoration.
