Seeding Policy

Seeding for ESF 2019 will be based upon official rules as determined by Sports & Active Living Sports Tournaments.

Teams must have appeared in at least one of the tournaments played over the last two calendar years (2017 and 2018). Please note ESF tournaments are worth two-times the seed points as compared to all other AKYSB official sports tournaments. The tournaments eligible for seeding for ESF 2019 are:

·       Summer Sizzler 2017

·       Jubilee Cup 2018

·       ESF 2017

Individuals/teams will not be seeded for new sports or new categories within a sport.

Team Sports

In team sports, seeding is assigned to a team name not individuals. Changing team names or not meeting the minimum number of repeat players will invalidate seeding.

For each team sport, the minimum number of players outlined in the below table must have played in the given team at any time in the aforementioned tournaments to have the right to use the team name and be seeded. Team sheets for ESF 2019 will be checked against team sheets from previous tournaments.
