From Karachi to Kampala, from Montreal to Melbourne, and from Dushanbe to Dubai, Ismailis from around the world are set to visit Portugal this July to celebrate Mawlana Hazar Imam’s Diamond Jubilee as one global Jamat.
Through Jubilee Concerts and the Jubilee Arts International Arts Festival, Lisbon will play host to some of the finest musical and artistic talent representing a diversity of art forms and cultures from around the world.
Exhibits to be displayed at the International Art Gallery (IAG) in Lisbon have been selected from thousands of submissions of artwork, including paintings, sculpture, installation art, and more, while the International Talent Showcase (ITS) will feature stunning performances by some of the Jamat’s most gifted singers, dancers, and thespians, on the grandest of stages.
Lisbon will also play host to the International Film Festival (IFF) this July, presenting the diversity and talented work of filmmakers, featuring documentary, experimental, animation, and other forms of visual storytelling. In addition, two Jubilee Concerts have been organised as part of the week-long celebration, featuring an eclectic selection of internationally renowned recording artists, coming together for two spectacular performances.
Ticketing and reservation for events is available to individuals already registered to attend the DJC. Your unique registration ID will be required. Reservations for the International Art Gallery and International Film Festival events are free of charge. Tickets for the International Talent Showcase and Jubilee Concerts will incur a fee.
Each attendee will be permitted to:
- Reserve once for the International Art Gallery;
- Reserve once daily for the International Film Festival;
- Purchase tickets for one, two, or all three of the International Talent Showcase events;
- Purchase one ticket for each Jubilee Concert.
The total number of tickets or reservations per event may not exceed 10. The total number of tickets or reservations per transaction may not exceed 30.
