An Annual Tradition: The Ismaili Centre, Toronto participates in “Doors Open Toronto”Aly Manji and Qurat Zulfiqar
For the fifth year in a row, the Ismaili Centre, Toronto participated in Doors Open Toronto, an annual event coordinated by the City of Toronto.
Over 150 of the most architecturally, historically and socially significant buildings across the city open their doors over the course of a weekend -- and welcome Torontonians and other visitors to experience the splendour around the City
Ismaili Centre, Toronto tour guides and volunteers welcomed over 2800 visitors to the Centre and provided guided tours of the building and prayer hall. The Aga Khan Museum also opened its doors to the public and offered special priced entrance to various exhibitions including the Moon exhibition. The weekend also included pop-up performances and food trucks in the Aga Khan Park.
