When the world was still grappling to understand COVID-19 and the new normal in 2020, Dr. Faiza Khoja embarked on an exciting journey taking the reins as the Dean of the College of Business Administration at Texas A&M University-Central Texas. With more than two decades of professional experience in higher education and extensive expertise in organizational management and leadership, Faiza came in well-positioned to take the College to new heights.

Global Ismaili CIVIC Day brought together tens of thousands of volunteers – old and young alike – in collaboration with civil society partners to benefit millions of people around the world. Displaying our ethics in action, the weekend of service marked another chapter in our centuries old tradition of contributing to the societies in which we live.
Dr. Ariff Kachra, the Dean for the University of Central Asia, had only a moment to meet with Naseem Jaffer during a layover at the San Francisco airport in 2015. He had heard of Naseem’s experience in preparing curricula from when she helped pilot the Ta’lim curriculum used in religious education classes, her services in analyzing and improving underperforming schools in California and Massachusetts, and her master’s degree in education with a focus on mathematics.
Dr. Henna Budhwani is a tenured Associate Professor of Public Health at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), Department of Health Care Organization and Policy, Visiting Professor at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), Center for AIDS Prevention Studies (CAPS), and affiliated faculty at Florida State University (FSU) College of Medicine, Center for Translational Behavioral Science.
Last month (October 2021), Ismaili CIVIC Leicester ran a donation drive with Leicester Jamatkhana to collect arts-related items, for distribution across eight Children’s wards within the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.
