On the 2nd of June 2024, Ismaili CIVIC donated 250 school kits in Salamanga, Maputo Province.
“Real happiness lies in inner satisfaction,” articulated Sherzad.
Sherzad hails from the beautiful Yaseen Village in the Ghizer District of Gilgit Baltistan. He graduated with honours in Journalism from the University of Karachi and worked with Dawn TV and the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). Although he was successful in his career, he felt a profound emptiness inside, a darkness he longed to fill with light. Sherzad identified the source of his discontent: the pressing issues of climate change and global warming, and his minimal contribution to addressing these problems. Furthermore, the income he was earning from his employment was not enough to fulfil the fundamental needs of his family.
Rai Dr Ashak Nathwani AM, based in Sydney, Australia, is a shining example of dedication and commitment to the Ismaili Community's Time & Knowledge Nazrana (TKN) initiative. His journey as a TKN volunteer is a testament to his passion for service and his unwavering commitment to promoting sustainable solutions.
On the solemn occasion of ANZAC Day 2024, the Ismaili community across Australia and New Zealand demonstrated their deep commitment to remembrance and civic duty by actively participating in marches and services honouring the sacrifices of veterans.

During the month of Ramadan Ismaili CIVIC Mozambique and ITREB for Mozambique joined hands to organize a donation to children in orphanages in several provinces of the country.
On the 31st of March 2024, Ismaili CIVIC Mozambique volunteers supported around 4000 residents of Matola and Marraquene to receive crucial support after heavy rains.
La Journée Internationale Zéro Déchet est l'occasion de sensibiliser et de mobiliser les individus et les communautés du monde entier à adopter des modes de vie durables et à réduire leur empreinte environnementale.
L'objectif de 2024, aller vers une terre plus verte en maximisant la restauration écologique à Madagascar, l’alliance des 3 entités ISMAILI CIVIC, PAMF, OSDRM a permis de mettre l'accent sur la pérennisation des actions menées grâce à l'entretien des sites déjà reboisés et le maintien d’un taux de réussite élevé.
Depuis 2021, un ensemble de près de 18 500 arbres ont été plantés affichant un taux de réussite de 90% soit aux environs de 16 650 arbres vivants.
