Encounters

Encounters is a 5-day residential camp that builds upon all of the fun and excitement of Caring & Sharing and guarantees to push participants to new heights. Participants will be given the opportunity to challenge themselves further – both physically and mentally, develop leadership and inter-personal skills and embark upon a journey of self-discovery through a combination of exciting outdoor activities, interactive team projects, fun evening entertainment and much, much more!

Encounters was created to provide a vital stepping stone for the youth, creating a seamless journey from one programme to the next from Caring and Sharing to Global Encounters and Al-Ummah. It allows youth aged 13 to 15 from the UK and Europe to be stretched out of their comfort zone, setting them up for the subsequent stages outside of camp
Facilitators aged 18+ meet and connect with like-minded individuals to form lifelong relationships and memories, explore their passion about the youth of today and their development and develop their own facilitation, teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
