In celebration of the Golden Jubilee of Mawlana Hazar Imam, and in recognition of the contributions of the Ismaili community in Portugal, Correios de Portugal (Portuguese Mail Services) has issued commemorative stamps featuring photos of the Centro Ismaili, Lisbon. Utilising as their focus the chahar-bagh (four-part) gardens of the Centro, these photos highlight the building's intricate architecture.

The Centro Ismaili in Lisbon, Portugal, was the first high-profile Jamatkhana to be established in mainland Europe. The architect, Raj Rewal sought inspiration from diverse sources such as Persian garden designs; the Alhambra in Spain; the Mughal splendour of Fatehpur Sikri and the Monastery of Jeronimos in Lisbon. Correios de Portugal has also released a special brochure and official first day cover to accompany the two commemorative stamps.
