Kampala, 24 February 2015 — Mawlana Hazar Imam arrived in Uganda today. Thursday, he will preside over the Aga Khan University’s 2015 convocation in Kampala.

At Entebbe Airport, Mawlana Hazar Imam was received on behalf of the Government of Uganda by acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon Oryem Okello and Deputy Chief of Protocol Aisa Ismail. AKDN Representative Mahmood Ahmed and Mohamed Lalani, President of Ismaili Council for Uganda greeted Hazar Imam upon his arrival.

Thursday, Hazar Imam will preside over the university’s 2015 convocation in Kampala.
